Level I |
Level I classes are the beginning of the Intermediate/Advanced skillset. Students typically reach this level between the ages of 12-13, but may be moved up at a younger age depending on skill level. Level I focuses on becoming familiar with the foundations of technique, terminology, and basic choreography. Students will remain in Level I until they complete all specifications to move on to Level II. Specifications can be found here.

Level II |
Level II classes are the next step of the intermediate/advanced skillset. Students will move into these classes after meeting the specifications of Level I. Level II focuses on mastering the basics and learning multiple turns, more complex choreography, advanced technique, and performance skills, as well as introducing students to basic “tricks" in lyrical and jazz, such as shoulder rolls and illusions. Students will remain in level II until they have reached all specifications in order to move on to Level III. Specifications can be found here.
|
Level III |
Level III is the most advanced level of dance. Students will move into these classes after meeting the specifications of Level II. Level III is for students who have mastered the basic skills of technique and are ready for fast, complex choreography, advanced tricks, complex turn sequences, and mastering the art of performance.
Only students in Level III may receive an invitation to the Aspire Dance Company. |
Pointe |
Pointe classes are for intermediate to advanced ballet dancers interested in performing in pointe shoes. A teacher must evaluate the student and deem their technique and strength adequate to ensure their safety while practicing and performing. Pre-pointe classes are available to those interested in gaining the strength and technique required for Pointe.
