Primary

These classes range from ages 5 -11, through elementary and into middle school. Each class has a curriculum that is structured specifically for the needs of each age group. Classes are fun while presenting the dance steps and concepts such as direction, spatial awareness, and technique. Lively warm-up routines create confidence and teach musical timing while students begin to learn more advanced work.

Level 1

Level 1 classes are the beginning of the Intermediate/Advanced skillset. Students typically reach this level between the ages of 12 - 13 but may be moved up at a younger age depending on skill level. Level 1 focuses on becoming familiar with the foundations of technique, terminology, and basic choreography. Students will remain in Level 1 until they complete all specifications to move on to Level 2. Specifications can be found here.

Students will remain in Level 2 until they have reached all specifications to move on to Level 3. Specifications can be found here.

Pre-Pointe & Pointe

Pointe classes are for intermediate to advanced ballet students interested in performing in pointe shoes. A teacher must evaluate the students and deem their technique and strength adequate to ensure their safety while practicing and performing. Pre-pointe classes are available to those interested in gaining the strength and technique required for pointe and begin at age 11.
